"It’s not only children who grow. Parents do too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can't tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it, myself." - Joyce Maynard
We are excited to offer Pre-Kindergarten at Woodrow Wilson Academy. Program days are M,W,F and M-F. We offer a half day program, which runs from 7:50-12:00 or a full day program, which runs from 7:50- 2:50. Price ranges from $250.00 per month to $575.00 per month. Our Pre-Kindergarten uses a Core Knowledge Preschool Sequence and we focus on pre-handwriting skills and number recognition. Our goal is to provide your child with all of the tools they need to be successful in Kindergarten. Please stop by and see all the fun we are having!
Woodrow Wilson Academy’s Pre-School Program is separate from the WWA K-8 program. Although we follow the same curriculum, we do not accept students based on a lottery as the K-8 program does. Pre-school enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you are interested in your child attending preschool at Woodrow Wilson Academy, please fill out the intent form. Amy Milliken, our program director will contact families during the last week of January to confirm their spots for the 2014-2015 school year. We will, however, continue to accept intent forms through May 2014. If all of the spots have been filled, you will be placed on a wait list.
If a spot has already been confirmed for your child, please fill out the enrollment packet. We will also require a current physical and immunization record to be placed in your child’s file.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact Amy Milliken at firstname.lastname@example.org or 303-431-3694 *239.

Woodrow Wilson Academy’s Pre-Kindergarten Philosophy
By selecting Woodrow Wilson for your child’s Pre Kindergarten Program you have given them the opportunity to socialize with classmates, start pre writing skills, introduce them to history, math, science and reading. Music, creative arts and outdoor play are all part of their day planned by Program Teachers. Students will be encouraged to use socialization and problem solving skills while attending the program. The Pre Kindergarten program will also encourage the use of the Woodrow Wilson’s Vision and Mission Statement as follows:
The vision of Woodrow Wilson Academy is to join students, parents, educators, and the community to produce an educational environment the nurtures, excites, and motivates children to learn. The Academy empowers students to become independent and responsible thinkers, foster academic and moral excellence, and promote creativity resulting in responsible, productive students.
The mission of Woodrow Wilson Academy is to provide a school where students thrive academically and socially. The mission will be accomplished through a strong educational program based on a structured curriculum supported by discipline and mutual respect. The commitment of the students, parent, educators and community will be utilized to achieve these goals.
