WWA Alumnus Shines at Pomona High School
We are very proud to announce that Matthew Thompson, Pomona senior and WWA Alumnus, was given the honor of being Pomona High School and the City of Arvada’s “Student of the Year” for the 2012-2013 school year! Matthew joined WWA in second grade in 2002, and graduated from eighth grade at WWA in 2009. He was also one of the two WWA Eagle Scouts that funded and built the Community Garden just south of our parking lot. Please take a few minutes to watch the following video that Pomona put together to honor Matthew. From all of your friends here at WWA: Congratulations, Matthew! You’ve come far.
